Veteran’s Initiatives Manager, MSGT (RET), USAF

Serving in Combat Communications, Mark Conrad completed two tours in Southwest Asia during and after Operation DESERT STORM as well as one tour in Bosnia. After his retirement, Mark returned to Southwest Asia for two additional tours as a Department of Defense contractor, after which he held positions as a technician and program manager for information technology and network security projects around the world. Mark embarked on a new career in the insurance industry in 2011, specializing in the unique healthcare needs of Veterans, and joined the Advocate Health Advisors team in July 2013. 

Active in several Veteran and heritage organizations, he has served as a member or officer in the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars at the Post, District, State, and National levels. In 2005, Mark was appointed an Honorary Kentucky Colonel in recognition of his service to Veterans. He has seven children and resides in Beavercreek, Ohio.

As the Veteran's Initiatives Manager, Mark focuses on developing training products for our Agents highlighting the military healthcare system and integrating unique Veteran's benefits with other military health programs along with Medicare and Medicaid. He serves as the company's liaison with Veterans groups, such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars and AMVETS, and is our subject matter expert regarding Veteran's Administration benefits.
